Let's Live - Unisex T-Shirt

THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM GOD TO ALL.

(Not only cancer can do this to you, I see you, He sees you,This is just a piece of my Cáncer journey) 

Cancer can slowly make your entire life revolve around staying alive.

Appointments. Hospitals. Treatments. Blood work. Scans. Medications. Side effects. Low blood counts. Trying to avoid getting sick. Being away from home and from the people you love. Learning what to eat, what to drink, what supplements to take — and which ones not to take. Changing products in your home. Changing what you wear because your body hurts. Trying to make everything cleaner, safer, softer, more comfortable.

Then there’s the emotional weight nobody always sees.

The fear before a scan.

The exhaustion after treatment.

The tears that come when you’re finally alone.

The financial stress.

The changes in your body.

The loss of your normal routine.

The guilt of missing family moments.

The endless research.

The questions.

The uncertainty.

Trying to manage one new side effect just as another one appears.

And sometimes, without even realizing it, your whole world becomes centered around one thought:

How do I stay alive?

One day, I was crying, in pain, exhausted, away from home, and praying. I felt overwhelmed by everything cancer had required me to change and everything I was trying to do right.

And in that moment, I heard the Lord place these words on my heart:

“Let’s not focus so much on not dying, that we forget to LIVE.”

Those words stopped me.

Because surviving matters. Treatment matters. Taking care of ourselves matters.

But so does living.

Laughing.

Loving.

Sitting in the sunshine.

Eating something you enjoy.

Holding the people you love.

Dancing when you have the strength.

Making memories.

Praying.

Dreaming about the future.

Enjoying today without feeling guilty for it.

Cancer may demand a lot of our attention, but it does not deserve every beautiful part of our life.

This shirt was created as a reminder for me — and now I want to give that reminder to anyone who needs it:

You are more than your diagnosis.

More than your appointments.

More than your blood counts.

More than your scans.

More than your treatment.

Take care of yourself. Do what you need to do. Keep showing up.

But somewhere in the middle of all of it…

LIVE.

This one is for the person who needed permission to remember that being alive and living are not always the same thing.
