He Loves Me - Women’s Softstyle T-Shirt

This shirt was born on the very first day I heard the words that would change my life.

 I had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer — invasive ductal carcinoma, triple-negative,Stage 4,  Grade 3, with a very high Ki-67 of 75%,  and BRCA1 positive. Only 5% of woman get this. 

Then, only a few months later, I received another diagnosis: inflammatory breast cancer, also Grade 3, stage 3 with an even higher Ki-67 of 98%, only 1% of woman get this, non the less both together. 

There were so many frightening words.

Aggressive.

Rare.

Stage.

Grade.

BRCA1.

Chemotherapy.

Treatment.

Uncertainty.

no reconstruction for me! 

Words that could have completely consumed me.

But something happened that first day that I will never forget.

Before I could even understand everything that was happening, one thought came into my heart so clearly:

I DON’T WORRY.

THE ONE IN CHARGE LOVES ME.

And an overwhelming peace came over me.

Not because I suddenly had all the answers.

Not because the diagnosis disappeared.

Not because I knew what the next day, month, or year would bring.

I simply knew that I was not going to walk through this alone.

I felt completely covered by God’s love.

I knew there was no diagnosis, no scan, no treatment, no statistic, no fear, no pain, and no uncertainty that could separate me from Him.

And that is why Romans 8:38–39 became so deeply personal to me.

It reminds me that neither life nor death, the present nor the future, nor anything else in all creation can separate us from the love of God.

When everything around me suddenly felt uncertain, His love was the one thing that wasn’t.

That verse reached every fiber of my body and every part of my soul.

And I believe it will stay with me forever.

This shirt is for the person who just received news that turned their world upside down.

For the person waiting for test results.

For the person sitting in the chemotherapy chair.

For the person who is afraid of what tomorrow might bring.

For the family member praying beside a hospital bed.

For anyone walking through something they cannot control.

It doesn’t mean we never feel afraid.

It doesn’t mean we don’t cry.

It doesn’t mean the road isn’t hard.

It means that underneath all of those emotions there can still be a deeper truth:

The One in charge loves me.

Completely.

Unconditionally.

Today.

Tomorrow.

In the good news and the frightening news.

In the miracle and in the waiting.

So when I cannot see what is ahead, I remind myself:

I know Who is already there.

I am loved.

I am covered.

I am held.

And I will never walk alone.
